Yes. SamLab is offline-first — registration, billing, result entry and reports keep working without internet and sync to the cloud when the connection returns, with up to 7 days of offline grace. This avoids the downtime pure-cloud lab software suffers on patchy connections.

SamLab includes a NABL-ready report designer with reference ranges, units, methods and interpretations, plus barcoded sample traceability, IQC and audit logs — the software foundation labs need for NABL accreditation.

Yes. SamLab connects to lab analyzers over serial/Ethernet and pulls results automatically with internal quality control (IQC), removing manual result entry.

SamLab uses one-time pricing, and the first year of AMC is always free — AMC is charged only from year 2. Express is ₹2,999 one-time (1 desktop OR web, 3 seats) with a ₹1,499/year AMC from year 2. Pro is ₹9,999 one-time (2 desktops, 5 seats, Desktop + Web + Android) with ₹2,999–₹3,999/year AMC and adds LIS analyzer integration, accounting, referral payouts and cloud sync. Executive is ₹14,999 one-time (5 desktops, 10 seats) and adds multi-branch and cloud backup. Enterprise is custom-quoted. LIS analyzer activation is an additional ₹5,000 per analyzer. Cloud services (cloud sync, cloud backup and SamLab AI) are optional and charged separately — see samlab.in/cloudcharges. Every plan includes a 7-day free trial.

They are optional and separate from your licence. Everything that runs on your own machine — registration, billing, samples, result entry, reports, analyzers and accounting — is covered by your one-time licence and is never charged again. Cloud sync, cloud backup and SamLab AI run on our servers, so they are an optional annual charge billed as its own line on your AMC invoice, available on Pro and above. SamLab AI is currently free up to 100 requests per day per lab as an introductory offer. If cloud is ever switched off, your desktop app and all local data keep working exactly as before. Three things. It writes plain-language explanations of a report that your pathologist approves before anything prints, in English, Hindi or Hinglish. It lets you search your lab by describing what you want — "unpaid bills from last week" — instead of learning which screen holds it. And it reads a doctor's handwritten prescription from a phone or scanner straight into a draft bill. Clinical values, ranges and diagnoses are never AI-generated, and no patient name or ID leaves your lab. SamLab AI is available on Pro plans and above.

Existing SamLab Cloud customers have been migrated to SamLab Express (Web edition) automatically. All your features remain - patients, billing, result entry, reports, cloud backup - and you continue to access your lab at the same URL. No action is needed. Yes — from the Executive plan upward, not only on Enterprise. Executive is ₹14,999 one-time (5 desktops, 10 seats) and includes multi-branch operations (head office plus branches), per-branch accounting, per-branch MIS roll-up and cloud sync across machines and branches. Enterprise adds B2B/outsourcing portals, WhatsApp report delivery and a bespoke quote, but you do not need it simply to run more than one branch.
