ABDM is India’s national digital-health programme. For a lab the practical questions are whether you can link a patient’s ABHA and whether records can be shared under consent. SamLab supports ABHA linkage in the patient record; see the dedicated ABHA page for what that covers and what it does not.

Does this make my lab ABDM-compliant?+
Compliance is a property of your lab and its registrations, not of software. What SamLab does is capture and carry the ABHA identifier so your records can participate. The registrations and consent obligations remain the lab’s.
Is FHIR required for ABDM?+
The wider programme uses FHIR for record exchange. SamLab does not implement FHIR yet — see the FHIR page for the honest position.
Does it work offline?+
Registration and reporting do. Anything that must reach a national endpoint needs connectivity at that moment, like any ABDM participant.
