The detail
Coagulation reporting is dominated by one derived number: the INR, which depends on the reagent’s ISI and the lab’s own mean normal prothrombin time. Getting PT across the wire is the easy half; reporting an INR that means anything requires the lab’s parameters to be right.
How it is set up

Connect the analyzer to the lab PC over its existing port — RS-232 serial or TCP/IP, whichever the instrument already uses.

Install the parser bundle for your exact make and model. It carries the protocol, the transport and the code map that ties the machine’s test codes to your SamLab catalogue.

Does the INR come from the analyzer or from SamLab?+
Usually the analyzer computes it and sends it, in which case it is carried as sent. Where the instrument sends only PT, the calculation depends on your ISI and MNPT being configured correctly — confirm which arrangement yours uses at a demo.
Are reagent lots recorded?+
Kit and batch can be recorded beside the method, which matters here more than in most departments because the ISI changes with the lot.
Can a corrected result be issued after the report has printed?+
Yes, and it is versioned. The amendment log keeps the original value and the reason, which is what an assessor asks to see.
